Volunteer Opportunities

Get Involved at Bashor!

Volunteering at Bashor means making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children, teens, and families all over our community.

Donate your time to Bashor Children’s Home! Bashor is looking for dedicated volunteers to bring their talents to the children and teens we serve.  Getting involved at Bashor is easy and we have volunteer opportunities ranging from events to ongoing service opportunities!

Finding the right fit is the most important step in volunteering. In order for us to find the best placement, we ask that you fill out the volunteer application or contact Lori Harrington at 574-875-5117 or lharrington@bashor.org. Once you submit your volunteer application we will be in touch to set up an interview and campus tour. Together we will find the right volunteer spot for you!

Check out our current list of volunteer opportunities or if you have a special skill that you would like to share as a volunteer, please let us know your ideas!

Click here to download the Volunteer Application. Once you have filled it out, save it and attach it to your favorite email program and email it to lharrington@bashor.org. Or if you prefer, click here to print the Volunteer Application and turn it in directly to Lori Harrington.

 Volunteer Opportunities Include:

Bashor volunteers must be 21 years of age, (with the exception of Teen Court and individual events), and uphold the Bashor mission, vision, and values! Safety comes first when volunteering at Bashor and in order to keep in the best interest of the children we serve, all volunteers will have a background check and supply personal references.
